What program(s) have you found success in?

The programs I have found success in are Online Live Fitness Classes, Video on Demand Replays, 10 Day Shred, Personal Training and Small Group Training Sessions.

When and why did you join Fit4Females?

I joined Fit4Females in April 2022. My initial motivation was to fit in a dress that I bought for my nephews wedding. Even if it wasn’t a possibility to fit in that dress, it is what prompted me to realize I needed to make a change.  

Feeling tired, I realized if I didn’t make a change things would get worse for me physically, mentally and emotionally. My focus was on regaining energy, strength and feeling better about myself.


It was an Instagram story that Trina Medves posted, encouraging movement, and she said something like “just start now, not tomorrow, not Monday, do it now, what are you waiting for?”, or as I interpreted it “what the heck are you waiting for?

That was it, what was I waiting for? I knew the perfect time would never come.  

I had been following Trina/Fit4Females for four years prior. I would read all of her weekly emails, and watch all of her Instagram stories.

Excuses like I didn’t have time for exercise, the schedule would be difficult and that I would be too tired to do it, so I remained a silent viewer and reader

The advantage of Covid was that online classes were offered and that was a bonus for me, not having to leave home. 

I decided to inquire about Fit4Females and was nervous at first to write the email saying “I wanted to know more.”, but I did, and I have no regrets.

Trina called me right away. She listened to my concerns, my goals, what I wanted to achieve and she was confident she could help me. I got started right away with online classes.

I had no idea what I was doing as I hadn’t done an exercise routine in so long. I had no equipment. I could barely do a squat, plank or push-up.

The first first made me feel so welcomed and like I was already part of the team. I knew I was in the right place and headed for good things.

There was no judgment, only encouragement. 

As the Fit4Females team would put it, I made the choice to show up for myself. Those words hit me hard. I often put others’ needs ahead of mine and finally doing something for me and not feeling guilty, was reassuring.

What issues and struggles did you have before you started the program?

I was tired all the time.

Not eating properly, skipping breakfast and eating poor food. I often woke up feeling bloated, very exhausted, and knew it was a result of what I was feeding my body.

Weight gain and it kept going up.

I felt generally unwell.

Knee and back pain.

I have a sedentary job and I was not moving enough.

Hardly drinking water.

I felt like I had no strength.

At a point where things I enjoyed, like walking, would cause me anxiety because I wasn’t sure I had the stamina to hold up the walk.  

Covid amplified my anxiousness.

Not talking kindly to myself, ever.

I saw myself in pictures, in the mirror and did not like what I saw or the way I looked, period.

What specific results (both physical and emotional) have you seen since working with Fit4Females?

Since working with Trina and the Fit4Females team, I have seen so many benefits. I didn’t realize how bad I felt until I started feeling better.

I no longer feel tired all the time, I feel stronger physically and emotionally. I am eating better, making better choices, drinking water and on an exercise routine that I enjoy (I never thought I would say that).

That being said, I don’t always feel like working out, but reminding myself of the benefits and that I will feel better after and seeing good results, makes me want to stick to it.

I feel better about myself. I have learned to speak kindly to myself and I am learning to love the person I see in the mirror and pictures.

I enjoy walking again as I know I have the stamina to last the walk.

I have lost 18 inches * I think I have gone down 2 or 3 dress sizes!


I have lost 29 pounds since April 2022. As a result, my knees and back feel better and clothing that I wished I could fit into, finally fit.

I have a new appreciation for sleep, exercise, heart health, bone health, and healthy foods.

Overall my mental health has improved. I didn’t realize the effect the Covid pandemic had on me until I started feeling better. Situations that would trigger an anxiety or panic attack have lessened.

What did you find the most helpful in the program or classes?

I found the personal coaching from Trina to be incredibly helpful. Her expertise and extensive experience were evident right from the start. Even during our online coaching sessions, she was able to pinpoint and correct my squat form, which made a significant difference. Learning the proper techniques eliminated my knee pain and improved my overall workout experience.

I initially joined the online classes, which were convenient as I could exercise from home. The quality of the classes were excellent, with engaging instructors who provided modifications for those like me without gym equipment. This allowed me to stay consistent and not give up on my goals. 

The fitness instructors were attentive, ensuring we performed movements correctly and maximizing the effectiveness of our workouts. What I appreciated most was the non-judgmental environment, where I felt supported and encouraged by a strong community of women working towards similar goals. 

One reason I didn’t join a regular gym was because I felt like I already had to look and be fit to go. I was too embarrassed to join.


For me, the small group sessions at Fit4Females provided the greatest benefit. They focused on strength, accountability, discipline and consistency, as well as mental and emotional well-being. Trina always reminds me that I am stronger than I think, and she knows exactly when to push me to lift more, do more, and challenge myself. 

This guidance helped me improve my strength and derive maximum benefits from the workouts.

Both the online classes and small group sessions have been instrumental in achieving my health and fitness goals in a safe and healthy way.

What would you tell another woman who is nervous to join?

I would tell her to “just start”. I understand the fear and nervousness that can hold you back, but I’ve learned that the most important thing is to take that first step. 

If you’re considering joining Fit4Females, don’t wait for the perfect time, because it will never come. There will always be something holding you back, but don’t make the mistake I did by waiting four years. Take those baby steps and give it a try. I assure you, you won’t regret it.

I recommend starting small, such as moving, walking or drinking more water. You’ll be amazed at the changes that come your way. They may come slowly, but the important thing is that you’re taking action and doing something for yourself.

Try that class you’ve been eyeing. I promise you, once you start, you’ll want to do more. 

Remember this is a journey that just keeps getting better, and though it won’t always be easy, the things that make you feel good inside are worth pursuing.

What do you want to accomplish in the next 60 days?

In the next 60 days, I plan to continue to challenge myself, challenge my strength in workouts, to continue to move on the days I do not have a workout by walking 15 mins on my lunch break.  

I am going to stick to better eating choices and challenge myself to not give up and continue on this journey.
