First of all, when a member tells you “I am down 11 pounds and the strongest I have ever been” you can’t help but be proud.  Weight loss is one thing but truly feeling strong in your body is so much more important.  When Nicole arrived she could barely perform one push-up.  Since then, this has changed, you should see her now!  Her strength has improved so much and it was her approach of one rep a a time, slow and steady.  I am proud to feature her spotlight.

Tell us why you joined Fit4Females

I am a new mom, I had a baby 4.5 months ago via C-section and was out of shape, looking for a way to feel good about myself again and bring my son along for the ride.  Stroller classes fit that perfectly.  I had read a lot of positive reviews online – so I thought I’d give it a shot!

Tell us about your first Fit4Females workout and what made you stick with us

My first class – I was nervous, but as soon as I walked in the door everyone was so welcoming!  A few members showed me where to get equipment and partnered up with me!  As for the workout, I loved it – it took me out of comfort zone, which was exactly what I needed!

Why do you love Fit4Females and the Team Leaders?

It is not like your typical “gym” – it’s a family-like environment.  I am greeted by my name with such enthusiasm at every class.  I have not once felt discouraged no matter how difficult the workout!  All of the Team Leaders put their own spin on each class, which makes each class different and challenging!  They motivate me to do things I didn’t think I could ever achieve.  “It’s you against you!”


What improvements and changes have you made both physically and mentally since joining Fit4Females?

Since I started, I am down 11 pounds, I am the strongest I have ever been, I feel fantastic, and I have the energy to keep up with my little guy.
  Being a new mom wasn’t an easy transition for me, I forgot to take care of myself.  Fit4Females reminded me that I’m important too, and taking care of myself is not selfish – it’s necessary.


Any encouraging advice you can share with our Readers that are not putting themselves first or nervous to join?

Advice – just do it!  If the thought has crossed your mind – it’s probably your body asking for some TLC and Fit4Females is the perfect place for it!  You are surrounded by the most welcoming, non-judgmental, positive, motivating group of people I have ever met (staff and members included).

Anything special to add about Trina specifically?
