Women are master jugglers.  Wife, Mother, Career Woman, Sister, Friend etc. etc.  We spend so much of our precious time being on point for everyone else that we forget about the most important job there is.  A show of hands for those hard-working ladies that have thought at one time or another “I focused more on my career verses my overall health.” vs “I am becoming the best version of myself”?  We need to reverse this thought process and starting putting ourselves first!  We need to remember that by taking care of ourselves properly we can then excel in taking care of our families and careers.  Can I get a YES Trina!

Tell us why you joined Fit4Females

I joined Fit4Females because I was not happy with my postpartum body, and I focused more on my career and not on my overall health.  I decided that I would focus my maternity leave on getting active and not spending it in front of a Television.  The best part of Fit4Females was that I could take my baby with me and did not have to worry about getting a babysitter.

Tell us about your first Fit4Females workout and what made you stick with us?

My first workout I was sweating profusely and realized how weak I was, but the best part of is that you have an instructor and a team of women who encourage you to keep going.  I enjoy working out as part of a group rather than by myself.

Why do you love Fit4Females and the Team Leaders?

The atmosphere at Fit4Females is exhilarating, it’s fun, it’s motivating, and it’s supportive.  The team leaders are amazing, they are full of energy and the classes have a variety of workouts.  The Team Leaders give you different options for each exercise movement depending on which level you are physically.

What improvements and changes have you made both physically and mentally since joining Fit4Females?

I really enjoy the classes, they are something I do for myself.  I have more energy, I’m stronger and I’m not as stressed.  The classes weren’t just a short term fix for me while I was on my maternity leave, I’m still attending and I still enjoy classes even now with my second pregnancy.

Any encouraging advice you can share with our Readers that are not putting themselves first or nervous to join?

I strongly encourage a hesitant individual to do a free drop in class because you have to experience it and you won’t be disappointed 🙂

Anything special to add about Trina specifically?

What I like about Trina is that she cares about women’s health in general, prenatal, and about healing your body postpartum.  She cares about what she does and helping individuals reach their goals.  I have also learned a lot from Trina.  She inspires you to care more about yourself and be the best version of yourself.
