When most people train legs, they think squats, lunges, or deadlifts. But one of the most powerful moves for hamstrings, core, and overall athletic performance is often overlooked: the Nordic Curl. Thursdays I share quick videos, tips on what to eat, how to move, and simple ways to stay on track, join me here.

🎥 Nordic Curl Exercise – Trina’s Tidbits

🔥 Why I Love It

The Nordic curl is one of the toughest but most effective bodyweight exercises. It challenges your hamstrings eccentrically (on the way down), which builds serious strength and helps protect your knees.

đź’Ş What It Works

  • Hamstrings → eccentric strength = injury prevention

  • Glutes → power and stability

  • Core → you’ll feel that big time!

⚡ Benefits

  • Builds strong, athletic legs

  • Protects knees + reduces hamstring injury risk (especially for runners & athletes)

  • Improves sprinting speed, jumping power, and overall lower body strength

✨ Pro Tip

Don’t worry if you can’t lower all the way down—start small, keep your core braced, and control the descent. Even partial reps build strength.

👟 Equipment needed: none. Just you, a partner or anchor for your feet, and the will to fight gravity.

Try this 2x/week and let me know how it feels!
