It’s time to cut back on the unhealthy eating and rev up the goodness.  My kiddies love fresh yogurt rather than the premixed, high sugar and processed kind.  Yogurt Blast Buffet was created when my very independent five year old asked me “Can we have a Yogurt Buffet and make them ourselves”?  My first reaction was “oh boy, this is going to be messy so I will just do it myself!”   However, I love the independence of my children so I decided to let it go.  Needless to say, it’s been a huge healthy success.

Yogurt Blast Buffet

What you need

  • Plain Greek or Regular Yogurt (not fat free)
  • Pure Honey
  • Any kind of fruit (we love all berries, banana, peaches, nectarines, etc.)
  • Granola or home made granola *shown in the picture is organic store bought but I added tons of pumpkin and chia seeds to cut back on some of the sugar
  • optional: added healthy probiotic

Step 1

Let go and have fun, don’t worry about the mess (I am a type A clean freak so this was hard at first but so rewarding)

Step 2 – Yogurt making time

Add all ingredients in order:

  • Yogurt
  • Probiotic
  • Honey
  • Fruit
  • Top with Granola

Let your littles ones create it their way and you do the same!
