Is it Safe to Workout While Pregnant?

“It turns out that I don’t need the assessment after all- I saw Silvana, the Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist today (I continued to see her throughout my pregnancy as well).  She told me to tell you that I am in good shape with no diastasis.  I am going to see her weekly for a while to work on some scar tissue and strengthening.  But she says I am good to go! I  definitely feel so much better compared to last time, it is like night and day!  I really appreciate you following up and can’t wait to start class with you.

First pregnancy with 50 lb weight gain

“I started at Fit4Females after the birth of my first son – I had gained 50 pounds with him and was desperately wanting to get back in shape!  With F4F I achieved this and more – lost the weight but also got strong and fit and feeling great.  

Trina’s Stroller Fitness classes were fun, challenging and motivating, but importantly throughout my time there, Trina always provided modifications for my individual situations (at first, being newly postpartum and then later, wearing my baby). 

When I got pregnant with my second son, I wanted to keep up my fitness and I had the confidence to continue working out – knowing I could trust Trina to help me do this safely.  I joined her evening Cardio Boot Camp and am so glad I did!  Trina always provided me with pregnancy-safe alternative exercises when they were needed and made sure I listened to my body to work out safely.  
Overall during my 2nd pregnancy I had more energy, and only gained half the weight I did the first time.  I also believe the working out helped me bounce back quicker – I had my son almost 2 months ago now and the recovery has been easier.  I’m feeling good and am very excited to re-join Stroller Fitness class at Fit4Females!”
