My Tidbits this week are favourite salad dressing recipe, tips for an epic salad and tips to crush your day. I want you to feel lean, strong and healthy. Salad Dressing Recipe
If you are trying to eat healthy and get more greens here are some tips to make your salad tasty and remove some of the dirt and critters before you ingest them. Right now there is a recall on Romaine Lettuce in Canada so try this amazing Kale Parmesan Salad with Dates recipe here.
Tip #1: Wash
- Wash produce in advance so it’s grab and go and you can avoid reaching for carbs
- Soak veggies in baking soda and a bit of vinegar to reduce the critters and germs
- Store in glass clear containers, the pretty colours will grab your attention in the fridge
Tip #2: Soak

Soak onions in water so they are not as strong for salad
Tip #3: Mason Jar Salad Dressing Recipe Oil and Vinaigrette
- Make your own salad dressing and store in a mason jar
- I use 1/4 cup of Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar,
- 1-2 gloves of Garlic
- 1 tsp. of Herbamare
- It keeps well in the pantry and is ready to go… skip the store bought chemicals
