Tell us why you joined Fit4Females
I joined Fit4Females after my baby because I needed a way to get back into my workout routine without having to leave my baby in a gym daycare or the care of someone else. As a first time mom it was a big relief to be able to bring my baby and tend to her during workouts. I also thought it would be a great way to socialize my baby while also getting my own benefits!
Tell us about your first Fit4Females workout and what made you stick with us
I was really surprised at how nice and welcoming EVERYONE was when I came! Often times it’s intimidating to start at a new gym but I did not feel that way at all at Fit4Females. Erika made sure I was I was introduced to people who could help me get to know where everything was and set up for any partner exercises. The workout was awesome and left me feeling that good work out sore which I hadn’t felt for months! I loved being able to bring my baby and being able to tend to her needs without any judgment because everyone there had experienced or was experiencing the same thing.
Why do you love Fit4Females and the Team Leaders?
I love Fit4Females because it’s become a part of our routine! I got my strength and booty back and my daughter loves coming and interacting with all the other babies so much! The Team Leaders are so encouraging and know how to push you to make sure you are working to your maximum potential. They also know everyone by name (I find this especially impressive) and make sure to focus on each individual during the workouts. In the time I’ve been there I have seen great results for myself as well as for other ladies there, so there is no doubt in my mind that these work outs work!!!
What has Fit4Females done to go above and beyond?
Fit4Females does everything above and beyond! It’s a really positive atmosphere to come to and listen and share experiences, challenges and get support. I never thought that I would love a “mom” type activity, but Fit4Females does a great job of really empowering every woman to reach goals you may not have even known were goals before!
What has been your biggest non-scale win since going Fit4Females?
My biggest non-scale win was seeing that I got my butt back! And feeling better in my pre-pregnancy clothes. Thanks to F4F, I’m back to the shape I was in pre-baby!
Any encouraging advice you can share with our Readers that are not putting themselves first or nervous to join?
DON’T BE NERVOUS! The atmosphere is so positive, welcoming and not intimidating at all. The work outs are challenging, but everyone works at their own capabilities depending on their own situation so it ensures everyone is included. Coming weekly has become an awesome part of our routine, I have found that my daughter has gotten great socialization skills from interacting with so many people in a friendly and safe environment. You always leave feeling like you are glad you made yourself get out and go, and who doesn’t want a great booty?!
Anything else you would love to share?
After my first baby, I was not sure how I would get back into my routine now that I had a baby needing to breastfeed every 2-3 hours! Finding F4F allowed me to work on myself while also ensuring my baby’s needs were met. Now that I’ll start into adult classes I can’t wait for the next challenge and look forward to going back to work knowing that I’ve worked hard on my progress and it shows!
