Oat Jars

Our Member Michelle is 48 days alcohol free.   One Tidbit to quit alcohol is to have a small treat to replace the sugar you get from the alcohol. This is a great sugar hack recipe that will give you a sweet treat with a dose of fat and fibre.

?Ingredients: Makes 4 Oat Jars

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons of natural Peanut Butter
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • You will add all of the above to a blender or food processor or hand mix
  • 2 cups of raw oatmeal *reserved for the end

?‍?How to Make:

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor or Ninja *except the oatmeal
  • No blender:  Mash the bananas and mix it all up with a spatula
  • Once blended, add 2 cups of oats and mix it together
  • Pour into four Mason jars
