I am so excited to have been amongst a group of 9 exclusive Fitness and Health Professionals that got a live and personal online meeting with the incredible Terry Frendo of Inside Fitness Magazine. Amazing things are happening at Fit4Females and Train with Trina is launched! What an honour to learn from a man who built his business from the ground up.

A big thanks to the powerful Stephanie Joanne for hooking us Entrepreneurs up to be in the top 5% of our game. Hanging out with Terry just rocked! If you are following me, you know that I have been sitting behind my computer day and night for the last three months building my Business Plans and Brand for 2016.
MY MOTTO
“Be better than you were yesterday.” I’ve been lucky to have a successful business for 8 and a half years at Fit4Females and now having launched my brand new Online Train with Trina Program for 2016! I had to make it happen and hustle every day to be better for myself and my clients.
Lucky for me, my Coach forced me to get “stuff” done. The dreams that I put on the back burner were brought up full speed. Steph’s coaching is much like mine, she knows how to light a fire under you. Love that girl!
Terry had some great tips for us fitness pros. I was lucky to have a conversation with him in the group. What a privilege.
How did Terry start?
Terry started in 1998 when he saw an ad in the Pennysaver for Muscle Mag International. He was 22 years old and was hired as the Advertising Manager. Bob Kennedy gave him a chance and he spent the next 8 years working with incredibly powerful and successful business people.
Eventually he left and started his own Magazine. I love that Terry started his business in his basement with only $5000. He knows how to get the job done. Inside Fitness is a well respected magazine and I’m patiently waiting to read their January edition!
Here are some Tips for success Terry Frendo himself:
- Surround yourself with people who hustle and work hard to get it done
- “It’s YOU versus YOU”….. Yes Terry! That’s the first quote on my sales page at Train with Trina
- Never give up
- You have to OWN it
- Some of my biggest successes have come after my failures
- Either you want it bad enough or you don’t
- Be consistent
- Don’t ever get too comfortable and don’t coast
“Terry, how do you stay motivated?”
Terry: “I’m big into the mental aspect, it’s YOU vs. YOU. When someone comes up to me and says ‘I love that article you did in the magazine!’ That’s what gets me motivated”.
Terry is an inspiration and a great example to keep hustling and keep your dreams by working the grind.
Surround yourself with people of influence and who will light a fire under you to make your dreams happen. I’m working the grind, I’m always learning, I never get comfortable and serving my clients with the best is my number 1 priority. That requires me to stay on the cutting edge and jump two feet in even when it scares me.
