Tell us WHEN and WHY you joined Fit4Females

I joined Fit4Females last winter for the Stroller Classes because it was always hard for me to get to a gym without my daughter, Camille.  My goals were to feel more confident, stronger and happier.  I have been hooked ever since!

Tell us about your first Fit4Females workout and what made you stick with us

I was very nervous going into my first class because it had been a while since I had worked out after having my daughter.  The Team Leaders (Trina and Erika) as well as all of the other members made me feel welcomed and accepted.  After my first workout I felt so accomplished and motivated.  I knew I’d be back for sure.

Why do you love Fit4Females and the Team Leaders?

I love Fit4Females because of everything they have to offer and what a great experience EVERY class is.  I love being able to bring my daughter to the Stroller Classes as well as going to night classes by myself for some “me time.”  All of the Team Leaders make every class so amazing and keep me so motivated.  They always put all of their effort in each class.

What has Fit4Females done to go above and beyond?

Fit4Females is always sending emails with FREE workouts, recipes and tips.  They work hard to make these emails for us, and they are always so motivating to open and read while at home.  I appreciate them very much.

What has been your biggest non-scale win since joining Fit4Females?

It is amazing what a difference in mood a workout can make.  I have noticed that ever since I have been going to more classes every week, I have so much more energy for the day, I am a lot happier and the biggest win for me is what a stress and anxiety reliever working out is.  The days I don’t get a workout in I feel the difference.  I am so thankful for these motivating classes.

Here’s your chance to brag about your wins!

Working out brings out a happiness in me as well as strength and confidence that I really needed.  It has not necessarily been about weight for me, as much as that is a bonus, but to just work on myself.  My happiness.  My smile.  How my mood affects others and my confidence.  After every workout I go to, I feel SO good and SO motivated for the day.  I have not felt this motivated in a long time.

Any encouraging advice you can share with our Readers that are not putting themselves first or nervous to join?

Just do it!  I heard about Fit4Females from a friend and it took me a few weeks to try a class.  As soon as I did, I wish I had done it sooner.

Focus on doing one thing at a time and it will all come together and happen for you.

What do you want to accomplish in the next 90 days?

I would like to keep up with the classes I am going to every week, as well as making a change in my diet because that is what I struggle most with.

Anything else you would love to share?

jenna-anxiety-member-spotlightI have a very busy life, like most moms.  My boyfriend/Camille’s dad works away.  So every day is busy trying to get everything done.  My anxiety gets triggered often, but going to these classes to workout is my biggest stress/anxiety reliever.  It amazes me what a difference a workout can make each day.  The days I don’t workout I feel it not only physically, but also mentally.  Thank you so much Fit4Females for providing these amazing classes, taught by amazing people, as well as a space to go and feel accepted.  It is much appreciated.
