Tell us why you joined Fit4Females?
At the time I joined, I was a single mom with big plans for me and my little guy. Prior to pregnancy I was athletic and outdoorsy and I wanted that to be a big part of my family life…so weighing in at 200+ pounds was not a viable option. F4F was the option to get moving again with my little man in tow.
What thoughts did you have before joining Fit4Females?
First thought: nervous to see how out of shape I’d become and whether bringing a baby to a workout would be a disaster.
Tell us about your first Fit4Females workout
First workout was hard. Gasping, sweating, cursing hard:) but I also knew that I had made a fantastic decision in joining.
Why do you love Fit4Females and the Team Leaders?
I found motivation, community and support at F4F. In my fellow classmates I saw women just like me…and in my Leaders I met women who wouldn’t let me quit. They made sure I got the absolutely most out of the time I dedicated to working out.
What improvements have you made since joining Fit4Females?
I lost 45 lbs that first year so goodbye baby weight! I am now committed to my fitness moving forward (even though sometimes I slip) but I now know that keeping my body strong keeps my mind and my family strong in turn.
Any encouraging advice you can share with our Readers?
You can never regret investing in your health. There is no downside. Don’t wait!
