Fit4Females launched our brand new Member Spotlight section this week and we are proud! This is a time for our Members to shine, inspire you and earn bragging rights because they are taking care of themselves. We can walk around and tell you how amazing we are but the truth is none of that matters without our Members and you need to see how they shine. This could be you! There is no accomplishment too big or small.
The majority of our clients are busy Moms, Teachers and women who constantly forget to make themselves a priority so these features are a big deal. It’s NOT easy for them to make it to class and we constantly coach “take care of you”. Tara Martins is a dedicated Stroller Fitness Member coming to class twice a week and she hasn’t missed all summer! Even with a busy toddler running around she manages commitment. At the age of 45, she is an inspiration of strength and hard work, her full toe pushups are admirable and she is always smiling. Who says you can’t be fit in your 40’s? Here is her story:

F4F: How do you stay committed in a busy schedule?
Tara: I have always done some type of work out my whole life and having a child later in life made me even more committed to staying fit and healthy. It was a bonus being able to bring my son to class. I owe it to myself and for my own well-being. It also helps keeps me sane and fit at 45!
F4F: What made you keep coming back to Fit4Females?
Tara: Fit4Females was a wonderful start for me as I was new to Canada. I have made some amazing friendships through these classes. The Team Leaders are extremely knowledgeable and give a great work out.
F4F: Any advice to give to our Members to encourage and uplift?
Tara: Fit4Females has a great set up, not only for working out but they have great nutritional tips, and a great way to meet new moms and sharing ideas of coping with your everyday life and raising kids.
F4F: What was the best part of your session?
Tara: After a year of working out, I was able to get back to my Pre- pregnancy weight and build more strength.
