There are people in this world that you just know things happened for a reason for your paths to cross.  Erin is one of those people!  Her energy and personality are one of a kind and when she walks into class she instantly makes you smile!

Tell us why you joined Fit4Females?

I joined because a friend had told me about F4F as soon as she found out I was pregnant.  She was so happy with the supportive environment and being able to work out with your babies that she just had to share.  She even brought me the flyer and a pen and basically instilled it in me that I would come once I had a baby of my own. (And that’s a great pen by the way)!

What draws you into coming back each session?

I spent 3 MONTHS sleep deprived because of my little guy.  There were many times I cried when I woke up and cried before class because I didn’t get sleep, but my little guy was going to be up anyways so I would come to class.

Fit4Females is the only thing I have been able to do for myself when going on such little sleep.  I wake up, work out, nap and eat.  I sometimes change into my work out clothes at 3 am because if I get a chance to sleep until 30 mins before I have to leave, I take the extra sleep!  No one judges at F4F and wearing a hat hides a lot 😉

On the days I have Stroller Fitness I actually have so much more energy to get through the rest of the day, and feeling myself get stronger again makes the aches of not doing much for the rest of my days easier.  If I wasn’t working out I think I would have become a puddle of pain and tears that stayed confined to my bed.

Why do you love Trina and our Team Leaders?

I come from a kinesiology background and before I got pregnant I was pretty fit.  I do not claim to be an expert in fitness but I do know about the body.  I had done a lot of my workouts at home, and tried some other group fitness places to challenge myself and mix it up.  The stuff that they were teaching was so biomechanically wrong and the amount of injuries people complained about, including myself, turned me off of fitness classes.  When I came and saw Trina and started the Fit4Females I knew that this was the right place to be.


After having my big baby, I felt like something was wrong with my abs and I thought I might be broken forever.  Trina assessed me with diastasis recti and gave me my “do’s” and a bigger list of “dont’s.” Every class is tailored to those with and without a diastasis, and we are given options for almost every move.  Trina knows her sh*t!

What is the best part of your sessions?

Half the time I’m laughing at myself screwing something up, or feeling the need to dance and booty shake to the sick beats.  I don’t get to do this stuff with my friends anymore late at night so why not make some friends in Stroller Fit!

Any encouraging advice you can share with our Readers

OMG YES!  Do something for yourself, that affects only you, and benefits only you.  Your baby becomes your life, your life becomes your baby. Don’t make excuses.  You need to be strong for yourself as well as for motherhood.

You do not need the aches and pains of your pregnancy carrying over into being a new mommy.  We all get soft, and our joints get loose when we’re pregnant and we need our muscles strong to hold everything tight.
