Detox Water Lemon Ginger Cayenne Recipe

Many of my clients that are trying to cut sugar find this recipe so helpful to replace Pop and high sugary drinks.  I personally drink more when I’m trying to cut my coffee intake.  Let me know how you like it.

Lemon Ginger Water

Vegetarian, gluten, dairy and nut free

Ingredients: 10 servings

  • 10 cups water
  • 2 lemons
  • Ginger *about a 1 inch piece *start small, it’s spicy
  • Optional: ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper

How to Make:

  1. Juice lemons and remove seeds
  2. Peel ginger
  3. Add all ingredients into a blender 
  4. Blend until smooth
  5. Store any left overs in a sealed mason jar or pitcher

Trina’s Tidbits:

This a staple recipe in our Fit4Females programs. At first, it might seem spicy but you will get use to the taste. Start with less ginger and cayenne based on your spice level. After drinking this lemon ginger water, hundreds of women at Fit4Females reported how great they felt, how clear their skin looked and it helped reduced cravings. I recommend drinking this with a stainless steel straw to protect the enamel on your teeth.
