This roasted cabbage is easy, healthy, low carb and affordable. This cruciferous vegetable has tons of health benefits including vitamin K, magnesium, folate, antioxidants and it’s low in calories. Add cabbage to soups, salads, stir fries, buddha bowls, fermented into sauerkraut and kimchi. I am not brave enough to make it myself just yet. This roasted cabbage is delicious and because it was so roasted it tasted like chips (I’m a chip junkie)! It’s the perfect side to your meal and it’s part of the Clean 15 on the dirty dozen and clean fifteen fruits and vegetables here.
Roasted Cabbage Healthy Low Carb
What You Need:
- One large cabbage sliced in 1 inch or so pieces
- Brush with Olive Oil, Coconut or sesame oil
- Top with pink Himalayan sea salt and pepper to taste
Roast at 350 C for about 40 minutes and voila
