I love Smoothies so I had to share this Berry Green Smoothie recipe from my 28 Day Shape Up Challenge.  What you put in your body has a direct effect on your mood, productivity, hormones, skin, muscles, sleep, recovery, aging and everything else imaginable.  I am no stranger to the drive thru and my morning used to consist of a double double coffee and an egg breakfast sandwich from Tim Horton’s (yuk!).  It costed me more time and money and a bunch of sensitivities that I didn’t know I had.  Here is a great alternative to the drive thru and no sacrifice on taste.

Berry Green Breakfast Protein Smoothie

Berry Green Breakfast Protein Recipe

Berry Green Breakfast Protein smoothie filled with goodness from my 28 Day Shape Up Challenge.

Ingredients: *makes 2 servings

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup mixed frozen berries *I used the Costco pomegranate mix
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2-3 cups fresh greens of your choice: I used spinach
  • 2 tbsp organic chia seeds
  • Optional:  2 scoops clean Vanilla Protein Powder *omit if you don’t want, I use vegan
  • 3 ice cubes
