I lost my Dad almost 4 years ago at his young age of 54. He was diagnosed with Cancer in April and died 7 weeks later. This was a healthy young man who was independent, full of life and never took anything for granted. He lived life! It is my life mission to give back and live my life to the absolute fullest. No regrets. In 2014 I did the 5k walk for my Dad, I was in excruciating pain during and after due to an undiagnosed hip injury. I ended up having surgery on the anniversary of his passing May 23, 2014, shortly after this walk. It was all meant to be. This year I am going to walk it pain free! If you would like to sponsor me, I would be ever so grateful, this house helps tons of families and it run mainly by community donations. Click here to sponsor me.
Please join team “Fit4Females for Gerard” on a 1k or 5k hike for the McNally House on Sunday, May 3, 2015. It’s free to join all you have to do is get some sponsors. Please help me give back to the McNally house. Click here to join my team now.
RIP Gerard Chisholm
My father took his final breath in the McNally House Hospice on May 22nd. If you have never heard of the McNally House and you have a loved one that is suffering, it is an incredible place. The Staff at the McNally House took care of my Dad and our family in a way that I could never describe in words. I am forever grateful for the comfort they gave us during the most difficult time of my life. My Dad would want me to honour his memory in a way that fills my life with joy. Although I miss him every day and cry for the loss of his life, I will honour him in a way that will help other families during their time of grief.
Thank you for helping me give back to an incredible Hospice right here in our Community. All of the proceeds raised in this Hike for Hospice will be used towards the patients. We can feel comfortable knowing that none of the money is used towards advertising, staff, research etc. Everything goes towards the patients comfort during their stay.
